Day 2

I am proud of myself for making the commitment to posting the very next day. I had concerns that I would not keep my goal because I "was too busy". That very well would have been my excuse to myself. Today is about adventure. Everything seems a little more fun when you consider it an adventure.

Beginnings

Oh, hello there. Almost didn't see you. Where does this blog begin? Before going into a meeting at work this week, my manager asked me to think about a few things prior to. One thing was based off of the idea of what kind of personal short term goals I have for myself.

Welcome to my goal (which is transforming to the long term). After completing my Bachelor of Education in April and making the transition to a full time job, there is a lot more "me" time. One of my goals was to pick up all the hobbies I enjoyed back up again, due to the time consuming program I was in I just didn't have enough time for enjoyment.

So I've taken a hobby of mine (photography) and given myself a little bit of structure to help me keep on track (this blog). My goal is to take a picture everyday for the entire year and post it on this blog as a way to catalog what I've done. I will be posting 5 times during the week, but for the weekends if I am not near a computer I will upload my shots on the Monday with a backdated date.

Seeing as it is Monday for the next 3 minutes, I wanted to quickly get something out to get this blog rolling. I feel I'll have to edit this post in the morning due to current exhaustion. And eventually I will get to making a nicer blog design.
